three methods for the durability flame retardant finish of pure cotton

There are three methods for the durability flame retardant finish of pure cotton:

A. Proban/ ammonia fumigation process, Proban method is the first used for industrial production by Wilson Company in the UK, the traditional Proban method is the fire-retardant THPC leaching after baking process, the improved method is Proban/ ammonia fumigation process, the process process is: fire-retardant finishing drying ammonia fumigation oxidation washing drying. This is currently recognized as a good flame-retardant effect, fabric strength, less impact on the feel of the craft.

B. Yrovatex CP finishing process. The product has good flame retardant performance and good durability. It can withstand family washing for 50 or even more than 200 times. It feels good, but the strength is reduced slightly. There are 20 or 30 domestic manufacturers using this kind of flame retardant.

C. Temporary and semi-durable flame retardant finish of pure cotton -- electric blanket, wall cloth, sand release and other fabrics have low requirements for flame retardant and washable times, and such products can be done as temporary or semi-durable flame retardant finish. That is, it can withstand 1 -- 15 times of gentle washing, but not soap washing. The main borax - boric acid process, diammonium phosphate process, phosphoamide process, dicyandiamide process. The above process is not widely used in industrial production of pure cotton fabrics.

The durability flame retardant fabrics produced in the market mainly use Proban and Pyrovatex CP finishing process.
